CIF Finals for Soccer and Basketball
  • Girls Soccer (CIF Finals) will play on Friday, March 3 at Warren High School at 5:00 p.m. A bus is available for students and will leave CLHS at 3:00 p.m. Click here for the waiver. CIF tickets are $5.00 with student ID, $10.00 general admission. Click here for parking instructions, parking is $5.00.
     
  • Girls Basketball (Finals) will play on Saturday, March 4 at Godinez High School at 6:00 p.m. A bus is available for students and will leave CLHS at 3:45 p.m. Click here for the waiver. CIF tickets are $5.00 with student ID, $14.00 general admission. Click here for parking instructions.

lnternational Week - March 6-10   
Monday: SAFARI DAY (Themed Dress: Animal Prints and Khaki/Earth-Toned Clothing). Lunch Activity: Club games/snacks.

Tuesday: JERSEY DAY (Themed Dress: Sports jerseys from around the world). Lunch Activity: Boba sales.  

Wednesday
: MIME DAY (Themed Dress: Black & White clothing). Lunch Activity: Fashion show.

Thursday:
 MISS-MATCHED DAY (Themed Dress: Wacky Patterns/Strips). Lunch Activity: Taekwondo and talent show.

Friday: TACKY TOURIST DAY (Themed Dress: Tacky Tourist Attire - Fanny Packs, Visors, and Hawaiian Shirts). Lunch Activity: International feast. Feast Tickets will be sold during lunch Monday through Thursday for $8.00 or for $10.00 with a crepe.

Annie Tickets On Sale Now   
The Performing Arts Department is hosting Crean Lutheran's first musical, Annie Jr., in April. There will be four performances at Concordia University Irvine's Studio Theatre. Seating is limited. Tickets are now on sale at the front desk.

Adult tickets are $10.00 pre-sale, $15.00 at the door.

Student tickets are $5.00 pre-sale, $10.00 at the door.
OC REGISTER ATHLETE OF THE WEEK

CLHS Freshman Shannon O'Malley was named the Girls Basketball athlete of the week on February 27.  Shannon is averaging 17 points per game and has helped the Girls Basketball team reach their first ever CIF Finals game.

MODEL UNITED NATION TEAM

Seven CLHS students from the Model United Nations (MUN) team competed in the Laguna Hills High School MUN Conference on Saturday, February 25. The CLHS students represented Switzerland, Jordan, and Congo in a variety of humanitarian issues. Jordan Lu won Outstanding Delegate and Alex Chun won the Research and Commendation Awards.
ATHLETES OF CHARACTER AWARD

Congratulations to Josh Hill and Abby O'Grattan for being honored as Athletes of Character and Honor by the Orange County Athletic Directors Association on Monday, February 27.  
PACIFIC SYMPHONY YOUTH ORCHESTRA QUARTET

CLHS Junior Danielle Liu, who is a member of the Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra, was chosen to play in a quartet at the prestigious Renee and Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall. Danielle's 7th grade sister is also a member of the quartet. To watch a video of the performance, click here.  
COSPLAY INVASION DAY

The Cosplay club hosted an invasion day on Friday, February 24. The club raised over $700 for the Little Warrior International Foundation from faculty and staff "arrests" throughout the day.
