Scouting For Food to Benefit FeedMore

Scouting For Food starts with the October Roundtables.   FeedMore representatives will be on hand to distribute bundles (400 brown paper grocery bags per bundle) to units.

Bag delivery is on or around October 29th. Encourage all your unit's Scouts and families to participate in Scouting For Food.  If there are scheduling conflicts bags do not have to be put out Saturday morning but could be distributed to assigned neighborhoods later that day or Sunday.  But bags do need to be collected Saturday morning November 5th starting at 10:00am.

It is not too late to get involved. If your unit would like to participate send an e-mail to  [email protected] and put Scouting For Food in the subject line, or call 804-2 04-2613.

A Scout is Helpful. Scouting For Food is the one Council-wide service project to address a serious need in our area. By participating your Scouts will develop a gre ater sense of purpose, a sense of service to the community and it puts the Scout Oath and Law into action.
