Just a reminder that all unit popcorn, peanut, and prize (if applicable) orders are 
due on Monday, October 23rd by 5:00p.
*You still have a couple of days to sell door-to-door, online, at work, and one final weekend of Show and Sell opportunities left, so please encourage your Scouts to continue to earn funds as long as they can!
PLEASE NOTE: Popcorn orders must be placed online as a unit through: via the online ordering system. For your convenience, please find a step-by-step ordering instructions document here to walk you through the process. 
Please read all of the instructions in the document prior to attempting to log on to the Trails End site.
ALSO NOTE: Peanut orders must be placed using the "Unit Take Order Peanut Products Orders" Spreadsheet here. (Whitley's does not have an online ordering system, sorry!) Once complete, unit peanut order spreadsheets should be emailed to or faxed to 919-734-6540. 
LAST, BUT CERTAINLY NOT LEAST: If you have any general peanut and/or popcorn order questions, please let us know as soon as possible and we'll answer those in the order they are received as they come in. The best way to communicate order questions is via email to

Every Scout deserves a well-trained leader!  
Scouting University is the perfect opportunity to improve your leadership skills, increase your Scouting knowledge and learn more about important Scouting topics. The result is that you will be better prepared to deliver a high quality experience to the Scouts in your unit and District.   
Classes are led by experienced volunteers and professionals who will help you deliver a more fun, safe, interesting and exciting program to your Scouts.
Early Bird Registration Fee: $15.00  
Fee after October 30, 2017: $25.00

Classes include Knots , Troop Skills,  Range Master , Indian Lore and Crafts,  SOS (Scouting Outdoor Skills) For Women , Leave No Trace,  Conflict Resolution , Risk Management and Ethics, and  MANY MORE!!

Time Is Running Out to Nominate a Deserving Scouter
District Award Nominations Due

All nominations for District-level awards are due to your District Executive by or on Friday, November 3rd.  
Find a document with all district award descriptions, requirements, and instructions at this link.
Send District Award Nominations to:
Coharie District  (Sampson & Duplin County) - send to Seth Bartosik at no later than  November 3, 2017.

Neusiok District  (Johnston County) - send to Stefan Spruill at no later than  November 3, 2017 .
Torhunta District  (Wayne County) - send to Sarah Fernandez at no later than  November 3, 2017 .

Silver Beaver Award Nominations
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest honor that a Council can bestow upon a local Scouter that has provided service to the Boy Scouts of America, has good standing within their community, and has shown an exceptional record of service to youth within the Council territory. 
The deadline to nominate a Scouter for the Silver Beaver Award is Thursday, November 30, 2017
