Are You A GOAL Member?

It's not unusual for us to receive phone calls from MA gun owners who are looking for guidance and are not members of GOAL.

Often times they ask "why should I join GOAL?"   The answer is simple: "our answering of your phone call and question is made possible by GOAL members".

We are more than just a resource though, we continually work to protect & restore Second Amendment freedom, we support many education efforts including our full training schedule and we proudly represent the interests of all law abiding gun owners.

AG Healey Protest - October 5th - Worcester

Protest abuse from the office of Attorney General Maura Healey.

GOAL has learned that Attorney General Maura Healey is hosting “Attorney General Community Action Hours” where she wants to hear from people who are being discriminated against.

On July 20, 2016 AG Healey launched a massive discriminatory campaign against licensed gun owners in MA, where she declared hundreds of thousands of people “felons in waiting”. She did this without vetting from the courts and without debate from the legislature.

Please join us October 5th in Worcester to protest AG Healey’s actions and to speak out against her abuse and discrimination.

Mass. AG Healey doubles down on refusal to disclose details of gun law interpretation process

BOSTON — Attorney General Maura Healey, recently directed by the state secretary’s office to provide a “revised response” to a records request related to her July “copycat” weapons enforcement notice, is doubling down on her earlier stance that the information should be kept out of the public eye.

In a letter obtained Wednesday, Assistant Attorney General Lorraine Tarrow defended the office’s decision not to release specific records to Holden resident David Reinhart, who in August filed a public records request he believed would tell him more about how Healey arrived at her decision.

“In summary, the records withheld under G.L. c. 4, § 7, cl. 26(d) are not public records because our deliberative processes regarding the (enforcement) notice are ongoing and incomplete, tied to our open investigations, and include legal opinions relevant to actual and threatened litigation,” Tarrow wrote in the office’s new response.
