It's not unusual for us to receive phone calls from MA gun owners who are looking for guidance and are not members of GOAL.
Often times they ask
"why should I join GOAL?"

We are more than just a resource though, we continually work to protect & restore Second Amendment freedom, we support many education efforts including our full training schedule and we proudly represent the interests of all law abiding gun owners.

Intro To Concealed Carry Course
This class is perfect for anyone researching a new CCW handgun as you get to "try before you buy" the most popular guns on the market.
Are you thinking about getting a new concealed carry pistol, and are unsure of which one to get? We have just the class for you! This new for 2017 course provides attendees with the opportunity to fire many of the Massachusetts dealer compliant handguns that are typically marketed towards concealed carry. It is a try before you buy class and will feature models from Sig Sauer, Smith & Wesson, Kahr Arms, Charter Arms, Ruger and H&K. Ammunition and all range gear is included. Attendees must possess a MA LTC or receipt from their licensing officer indicating the application is in process.

Healey Provides No Answers At Lowell Town Hall
GOAL would like to thank everyone who attended this event to protest her actions of 7/20/16
LOWELL -- The line between national and local issues seemed fuzzy during Monday night's meeting at the Wang Middle School led by state Attorney General Maura Healey.
During the town-hall style meeting, Healey took questions on topics that have made headlines recently. These included questions about guns, opioids and mental health, repeal of the Affordable Care Act, the environment and the appointment last week of a special prosecutor to investigate Trump-Russia connections and the 2016 election.
Healey said she has been doing town-hall meetings across the state. "Now more than ever" it is important for Americans to come out for discussions on these topics.

Thank You Licensed Retailers!
Thank you for attending Baker Admin's Listening Session for Small Businesses.
We are glad to report that there was a table full of licensed firearms retailers in attendance at the Baker Administration's small business listening session.
This event presented a great opportunity to discuss the many challenges that licensed retailers face, in the regulation heavy state of MA.
With an ever growing budget shortfall continuing in MA, lets hope that they listened!

Women On Target at
North Brookfield S.C.
A perfect introduction to the shooting sports - spots are still available!
The North Brookfield Sportsman's Club, The Gun Parlor, and Gun Owners' Action League are proud to present the NRA Women on Target Clinic. This women's only instructional shooting clinic is being held June 24, 2017 - 8:15 am to 5:00 pm at 20 Boynton Rd North Brookfield, MA 01535. All equipment and student texts are included. Lunch and refreshments will be served!
The event fee is $55 per person and is limited to 24 people. You must be at least 16 years old to participate. Please contact Jean Underwood at 508-867-7855 to register. Space is limited; so, reserve your seats now!

We had a great time at Mattapoisett Fin, Fur, & Feather's Women On Target event. The sun even came out while we were there! Thank you to the everyone for coming out and especially to the club and volunteers who made the day possible!

MA Senior Games Pistol Competition at Sharon Fish & Game - June 13th
Don't miss the fun, sign up today!
The fourteenth annual Conventional Pistol competition of the Mass Senior Games will be held on June 13, 2015 at the Sharon Fish and Game Club, 303 East St., Sharon, MA.
The match will be a 900 shot indoors at twentyfive yards. Classification will be by age groups of five years starting at forty with preference given to those fifty and above .
With the exception of classification, the match will conducted in accordance with rules of the NRA.
We are looking forward to seeing those who have previously participated and additional shooters.

GOAL's 2017 training schedule is posted online and features new courses including the Intro to Concealed Carry Pistol (mentioned above), our new MA Gun License training course which replaces the basic pistol course of old, and a great class for revolver aficionados, Short Barreled Revolver Skills.
