The measure would result in suspension of gun rights for up to a year.

Advocates call for lifting Mass. stun gun prohibition - "These are over-the-counter products in the bulk of the country," Wallace said. According to information provided by GOAL, Maine, Vermont and New Hampshire make electronic weapons available for over-the-counter purchase with New Hampshire restricting sales to people 18 and older.
