Are You A GOAL Member?

It's not unusual for us to receive phone calls from MA gun owners who are looking for guidance and are not members of GOAL.

Often times they ask "why should I join GOAL?"   The answer is simple: "our answering of your phone call and question is made possible by GOAL members".

We are more than just a resource though, we continually work to protect & restore Second Amendment freedom, we support many education efforts including our full training schedule and we proudly represent the interests of all law abiding gun owners.

If you are not a member, please consider joining, you can do so online here: http://goal.org/joingoal.html

Healey’s Office Illustrates Lack of Firearms Knowledge

Healey’s office continues attempt at re-writing law for MA Legislature via her “Enforcement Notice”.

In the last 24 hours a new page has shown up on Attorney General Healey’s website, titled “ Guns That Are Not Assault Weapons”.

Upon viewing the page there are many new questions, which make this untenable situation increasingly murky. This is disturbing considering that Healey has threatened gun owners not in compliance with a ten-year felony charge for transferring items that are legal to transfer according to Mass General Law (MGL). By her action she has put licensed gun owners and dealers in a tough spot, should they follow existing law as outlined by the MGL and recognized by the courts, or should they follow the enforcement notice and fear the threatened ten-year felony charge?

19 Mayors Support #HealeyHurtsFamilies

Nineteen mayors from across the Commonwealth have signed onto a letter of support for AG Healey’s campaign of intimidation, confusion and fear, which is directed at MA gun owners and their families.

As we noted in earlier posts, there is nothing in Healey’s action that will make a bit of difference in reducing violent crime. There is nothing in Healey’s action that goes after the criminal element, and there is nothing in Healey’s action which addresses the void of available services for patients seeking mental health help.

These mayors should be shamed for backing Healey’s political stunt.

If you live in one of these cities or towns, please contact your mayor’s office and let them know that you do not appreciate them supporting Healey’s abusive action.

19 Mayors Supporting Abuse By AG Healey

Jim Wallace on Boston Herald Radio

GOAL Exec. Director Jim Wallace on Boston Herald Radio talking about AG Healey abusing law abiding citizens.

This is a great listen for anyone new to the issue as Jim does a great job explaining the "big picture" implications about Healey's enforcement notice, how it's abusive and why it must be stopped.

#HealeyHurtsFamilies

We have created an all inclusive web page dedicated to providing timely information about how you can help us end the abuse coming from the office of Attorney General Maura Healey.
