Are You A GOAL Member?

It's not unusual for us to receive phone calls from MA gun owners who are looking for guidance and are not members of GOAL.

Often times they ask "why should I join GOAL?"   The answer is simple: "our answering of your phone call and question is made possible by GOAL members".

We are more than just a resource though, we continually work to protect & restore Second Amendment freedom, we support many education efforts including our full training schedule and we proudly represent the interests of all law abiding gun owners.

If you are not a member, please consider joining, you can do so online here: http://goal.org/joingoal.html

Firearms Retailers, NSSF File Federal Suit against Attorney General Healey’s Overreaching ‘Enforcement Notice’

NEWTOWN, Conn. — Four federally-licensed Massachusetts firearms retailers and the National Shooting Sports Foundation® (NSSF®), the trade association for the firearms and ammunition industry, today filed action in United States District Court for the District of Massachusetts to challenge on Constitutional grounds the “Enforcement Notice” issued by state Attorney General Maura Healey. The lawsuit states that her office overstepped its legal authority and deprived the retailers of their due process protections guaranteed under the U.S. Constitution. The action seeks declaratory relief and a permanent injunction enjoining enforcement.

Mass. AG Healey directed to revise response to ‘copycat’ weapon ban information request

BOSTON — A Holden resident, stonewalled last month by Attorney General Maura Healey’s office when she rejected his public records request for documents and records that may shed light on how Healey arrived at her “copycat” assault weapons ban decision, recently scored a victory in his appeal efforts.

According to a Sept. 16 letter from Shawn A. Williams, Secretary of State William Galvin’s supervisor of records, David Reinhart’s appeal resulted in Galvin’s office contacting Healey’s office — and Healey staffers agreeing to “review Mr. Reinhart’s request and provide a revised response.”

AG Healey Protest - October 5th - Worcester

Protest abuse from the office of Attorney General Maura Healey.

GOAL has learned that Attorney General Maura Healey is hosting “Attorney General Community Action Hours” where she wants to hear from people who are being discriminated against.

On July 20, 2016 AG Healey launched a massive discriminatory campaign against licensed gun owners in MA, where she declared hundreds of thousands of people “felons in waiting”. She did this without vetting from the courts and without debate from the legislature.

Please join us October 5th in Worcester to protest AG Healey’s actions and to speak out against her abuse and discrimination.

Volunteers Needed for GOAL Booth @ Topsfield Fair

Can you help us out?

Each year, GOAL is fortunate enough to be provided a booth at the Topsfield Fair.

Our booth is located in the Sportsman’s Building and is provided courtesy of the Essex County League of Sportsmen.

Exposure at the fair gives GOAL the opportunity to talk with thousands of attendees. Some are familiar with GOAL and are already members. Others we talk with have no knowledge of firearms and their many purposes.

With limited office staff, GOAL depends on volunteers to help us at this fair. This year the fair will be held from September 30-October 10, open from 10am to 11pm (Our booth will be open until 8pm). GOAL usually sets up five- hour shifts for volunteers; 10-3 & 3-8. Volunteers MUST be GOAL members in good standing.

If you can help, please email Angela at [email protected].
