Friday Nights on Main will
offer fun for all ages

DANVILLE, Ky. - The Heart of Danville Main Street Program is sponsoring "Downtown 'Til Dusk: Friday Nights on Main," June through August.

Downtown shops will have later hours, and most will stay open until 7 p.m. All restaurants and bars will be open as well.

"We want people in the community to think of downtown as a great place to shop, eat and have fun," said Heart of Danville event coordinator Missy Angolia. "We want people to realize they don't have to go out of town on the weekend to find entertainment. Friday Nights on Main will provide activities the entire family will enjoy, right here in Danville."

Retailers participating in Friday Nights on Main include: A&L Accessories, The Clothes Horse, Community Arts Center, Danville Bike and Footwear, Derby Shoppe & Raggs, Karamel Kreations, Maple Tree Gallery, McDowell House & Apothecary (select Fridays), and Twisted Sifter. The following eateries and bars will be open as well: 303W, Baskin Robbins, The Beer Engine, Bluegrass Pizza & Pub, Carbon, The Hub, Mermaids, Orange Leaf, Papa John's, Pescara, Subway and V the Market and Wayne & Jane's Whiskey Bar. Chocolate-N-More will also participate after the business opens later in the summer.
