A family-friendly event for all ages!
Fort Wayne's most anticipated Halloween event is bigger and better than ever! The 7th annual Fright Night Downtown is Saturday, October 18th. With over 25 spooktacular activities for people to enjoy throughout the day and evening, Fright Night is a family-friendly event with something for everyone!

Wing Fest
Family Friendly Food Festival


When: September 28
Where: Headwaters Park

WingFest will be held from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m.

with Fort Wayne's best chicken wings, a wing eating contest, NFL Game Zone, a Full Service Bar area, and a Kids Zone for Families that is sure to be lots of fun! Tickets are available for $7 each for adults with children seven and under enter for free. Wing Fest will raise money for various charities, including the SPCA.

The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts and Fort Wayne Cinema Center present Chris Buck, Oscar-winning director of Disney's Frozen as well as a free screening of the film Frozen!

City to Offer River Walk
Residents Can Offer Ideas

 

When: October 6 & 7

Where: Fort Wayne Outfitters

 

The public is invited to take a guided walk alongside the St. Marys River and learn about proposed riverfront development concepts. Local architects will take part in the walks and sketch people's ideas for what they envision. Two walks are scheduled. During the River Walk, residents will see these concepts and how they might work into the existing landscape.

JJ Deliveryman Inspires
Local Inspirational Story 


Eddie Ramos, the man who rode his bike 1,000 miles to Vermont to run a half marathon one day and a full marathon the next, might be a little disappointed with the results, but he sure has caught a lot of people's attention. Ramos, 21, who is a bicycle deliveryman for Jimmy John's Downtown, managed to complete the first race Saturday, running a 13-mile obstacle course put on by Spartan Race, which holds similar races all around the country.

City will Select New
Residential Developer
The Latest Development News 


Mayor Tom Henry announced the City of Fort Wayne will select a new developer for the residential component of the major development project in Downtown Fort Wayne.
Hanning & Bean Enterprises has chosen not to continue its involvement in the project as outlined in a development agreement.
