The Firebird is a story full of magic and love. It tells the story of Prince Ivan's journey to win the heart of his princess but first, he has to get past the evil magician, Kostchei.

The Botanical Conservatory


Enjoy an autumn celebration at the Botanical Conservatory!  Children and their adults will explore the gardens for fall crafts, activities and games. Test your observation skills with the Gnome Search, discover whether pumpkins float or sink, nibble on pumpkin seeds and decorate your own mini pumpkin.
Halloween Haunt
Community Center


Downtown Fort Wayne becomes a haven for monsters, ghosts, vampires and zombies on Saturday afternoon.  Bring your little goblins to the Community Center for an afternoon of frightful fun. You will be able to enjoy free face painting and a free snack. Fort Wayne Youtheatre will be performing at 2 p.m.

A not-too-scary, family-friendly party for the little ones (8 years and under)! Show off your costume on the big stage, enjoy a Halloween movie and get the wiggles out on the dance floor with DJ La-La. Enjoy $1 treats from the Hilton Hotel.

Enjoy this free event from 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. during Fright Night! There will be a bonfire with Fright Dogs, Blood Soup, Cider, and Hot Chocolate! All items are $2 and proceeds to benefit the charity organization "Back on My Feet".

A Night in the Old City Jail
Fort Wayne History Center



Take a trip through the darker side of history with a visit to the History Center's Old City Jail. Get goose bumps touring the iron cells that housed generations of inmates until 1971 and discover the artifacts of those who broke and upheld the law of historic Fort Wayne. $3 per person.
Scavenger Hunt
Parkview Field


On Saturday, ghosts and pumpkins will be hidden all over Parkview Field! Attendees can take as much time as they need during the hours of 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to count up how many ghosts and pumpkins are hidden at the ballpark. The fan who guesses the closest number,will win a TinCaps prize pack!

ARCH's Murder Mystery Mayhem walking tours take you through Downtown Fort Wayne to various sites and all the darker stories affiliated with them. Filled with new, true stories as well as some of our favorites from years past, you will not want to miss this year's tours. Walking Tour is $10.

 Are there really ghosts floating down the hallways of North Side High School? Do the stairs at the old Byron Health Center really go on forever? Choreographers have gathered some of the most chilling local tales of terror as creative source material for this years' Halloween show. You may never drive by Devils Hollow, the historic Embassy Theatre, Bostwick Bridge, or Chapman Road ever again. Adults $15, Student $13.
