From the Desk of Our Executive Director
If you've visited our offices, received a child care referral or payment assistance, attended a class, workshop, or training, received assistance signing up for CalFresh or getting your taxes filed, chances are you've met our wonderful staff. From our friendly receptionists, Marie, Sahara, and Nancy, to Meena and Chantae in our satellite offices, 4Cs staff are the backbone of 4Cs' programs and services. Did you know that our office staff speak 16 different languages? In addition to English, American Sign Language, Bahasa, Cantonese, Hakka, Hindi, Konkani, Malayalam, Mandarin, Punjabi, Spanish, Tagalog, Taiwanese, Tamil, Urdu, and Vietnamese  are all spoken by various staff members! We even offer many trainings in English, Spanish and Chinese.

Another astounding number is the number of years our five senior managers have been at 4Cs: 113 combined years - that's an average of 22 and a half years each! In February, Rosemary Obeid, our director of R&R and Health and Nutrition programs celebrated 25 years of service at 4Cs and, in December, I will be completing my 30th year with the agency. With all of the trials and tribulations, triumphs and awards, I could not think of a more incredible team to work alongside.

Next time you're in the area, stop on in and say 'hi.' We're happy to welcome you, whatever your language preference may be!

Be well,

Renee S. Herzfeld, Executive Director
