Pastor's Message

For the last few weeks, we have been studying the book The God We Can Know, Exploring the I AM statements of Jesus. We have heard Jesus say things like "I am the Bread of Life," "I am the Good Shepherd," and "I am the Resurrection and the Life." We have retold and experienced the story of the unconditional love of the cross and the eternal hope of the Resurrection. Through the sayings, the life and the ministry of Jesus we have the most perfect glimpse of the true nature of God. This is indeed a God we can know. It is also a God we can't NOT know....

Looking Ahead:  April 12, 2015
We invite you to download the latest weekly  Looking Ahead. It includes information to keep you up-to-date on everything happening at PVUMC.

The digital version includes website links directing you to upcoming sermons and scripture, information about upcoming events and programs, and email links to people you can connect with for more information or to get plugged into our many ministries.

The intercessory prayer list is also included, so you can pray about your church family and friends this week.

New this week: A children's class has been added at 11:15 am for those who attend the Ignite service. If you've missed Godly Play at that time, we're happy to announce its return. See the Looking Ahead  for details on drop off and procedures for this multi-age class or click here.

Special Organ Prelude: If you prefer worship in our sanctuary at the 9:30 am hour, and separate Sunday School classes for age 2 to 12th grade, we encourage you to arrive early this Sunday because Ashley Snavley will play a lengthy organ prelude from her Gammage organ concert (see the highlighted info above) beginning at 9:25 am. Don't be late if you don't want to miss a minute of it!

Sunday Worship at PVUMC

Our worship bulletins are published online at our website. Normally, we offer three services: our traditional 8 am service in the Chapel, our traditional/blended 9:30 am service in the Sanctuary, and our distinctively different Ignite service at 11:15 am in the Chapel, designed to be "bulletin free" and led by our Praise Band. We celebrate communion at all services on the first Sunday of every month, and usually every week at Ignite

This Sunday, Pastor Eve Williams preaches on "The God We Can't Not Know" at all 3 services.

Download your 8 am worship bulletin by clicking here.
