It is hard to believe that another year has gone by, but it's once again time for the Annual Building Manager Meeting, Tuesday March 14th at McCaw Hall, Frances C. Arrillaga Alumni Center. Guest speakers include Laura Jones,
Director of Heritage Services and University Archaeologist,
brings an interesting aspect of Stanford history, and Octavio Pena,
Planner-Scheduler/Support Services Manager,
will discuss changes with the work order form and how the Operations Center can help you with maintenance requests. We also have regulars, Laura Goldstein,
Executive Director, Department of Project Management
and Greg Spinali,
Zone Project Manager to give a synopsis of
upcoming construction on campus. Breakfast is served starting at 8:30 am and the program begins at 9. A formal calendar invite will go out to all of you this week.
Fall Campus Clean Up had smaller pick up numbers than last year. PSSI reports that we collected 51.51 tons which is below average, and we recycled only 12.56% of it, which is also below average.
Property Management Office had these
statistics.
Do you think we have finally cleaned out all of those closets on campus? We are planning for the reduced Spring Clean UP and will meet first week of February to work out details.
You might have noticed that Parent's Weekend has been renamed. The official web site states, "The definition of family is constantly evolving, and "Family Weekend" better reflects Stanford's strong commitment to welcoming those who support and nurture our students, be they mothers and fathers, stepparents, guardians, grandparents, aunts and uncles, siblings or other individuals." Family Weekend, is scheduled for February 24th and 25th.
