The Avalon Historical Society is hosting its annual Photography Contest and will be accepting entries through the month of May, for a display that will appear at the Avalon History Center through June. Amateur photographers are encouraged to enter their photo ops in a number of categories including Nature, Scenic, Portrait and Personality, and Avalon Places and People. And kids can join in too! Children 12 and under are also encouraged to submit their entries on anything their imagination can capture! Check It Out at the Avalon History Center! Call for more information - 609-967-0090.

Silva, who is renowned for his thriller and espionage novels will discuss his new book as well as the process of researching and crafting these intricate stories.
