Passover Closings

The Jewish Federation will be closed the following days for Passover.
Friday, April 22, 2016 and  Friday, April 29, 2016.

Please note the Kosher Food Pantry will be closed during Passover, 
beginning Thursday, April 21, and lasting through Monday, May 2.

During this time we will be unable to accept
any food donations for the pantry

Needle Arts

Our Needle Arts Group knits, crochets, does needle point or other projects. We welcome all skill levels, provide instruction, and can supply materials if your project goes to charity.

on April 28, May 12, 26, June 9, and 23.
Name Readers Needed for
Unto Every Person There Is A Name
Thursday, May 5, 2016 
Beginning at 10:00 AM with a
Candle Lighting Ceremony at 12:00 PM

Our community's participation in the worldwide Holocaust memorial project, "Unto Every Person There is a Name" will take place on Thursday, May 5 at the County Courthouse. Name readings will begin at 10:00 AM. At 12:00 we will pause our name reading for our candle lighting ceremony and a presentation by our guest speaker Avi Maor.  Following the noon program, the reading of names will continue until 3:00 PM.

If you would like to volunteer to read names please contact the Jewish Federation office at 574-233-1164 to schedule a time to read.

Tickets for the 6th Annual Michiana Jewish Film Festival are now available for purchase through the DeBartolo Performing Box Office.
