FDHA - Education
The Fulton-DeKalb Hospital Authority's (FDHA) 3rd Annual Grantee Training will be taking place on  September 1, 2017. The training will be conducted by  Irene Borum, Chief Financial Officer for the FDHA in collaboration with  Sherard Polite, Health Educator for the FDHA and will  address non-profit finances and provide financial technical assistance. The FDHA's Financial training session is designed for individuals responsible for the financial administration of grants and endowments. The FDHA makes a valiant effort to identify the areas of need for all our grantees. This is completed through the use of a comprehensive survey distributed months prior to the training session. Past sessions for trainings have been: Capacity Building and Equality vs Equity.
The upcoming session (September 1) is based on Federal laws, rules and regulations; and accepted accounting and financial principles and practices. The objectives of the training are set out to develop efficient financial and grant management, review challenges for financial management growth and explore ways to enhance current practices. All attendees will be learning through presentations and participating in financial exercises.
