It's not what's under the tree that matters, it's what's around it."
December is a season of change - rain turns to snow, there's a dramatic change in the amount of daylight we enjoy, leaves disappear, and ultimately a change in the year's date. And Gig Harbor will see many changes too. We will have a majority new council in 2018. New perspectives will be brought to city hall. We look forward to the fresh start. But before we head into 2018, we invite you to join us in thanking our current mayor and council members who will finish their terms at the end of this year. On
December 11th at 4:30pm, we will host a reception in the civic center lobby to recognize the contributions of these citizens.
Please join us and acknowledge the almost ninety-five cumulative years Casey Arbenz, Steven Ekberg, Jill Guernsey, Paul Kadzik, Rahna Lovrovich and Tim Payne have given to the city. Gig Harbor is full of holiday events this month too. Find what you are looking for here in the Gigabyte. And happy holidays to you and yours.
