Dear ,

Welcome to our November e-News. We have been busy planning great events for students and alumni.

  • Alumni-Student Career Speed Networking is a fun and impactful night.
  • The Faraday Physics Family event is a fun evening of hands-on demonstrations.
  • Historian Paul Clemens has a new book describing Rutgers' rich history since 1945.
Special thanks to the many dedicated RAA volunteers who organize our activities. We could not do it without their above-and-beyond support and your participation.

book cover Rutgers since 1945
In the 1940's, Rutgers was a small liberal arts college for men. Today, RU is a major public research university, a member of the Big Ten and of the prestigious Association of American Universities.

In "Rutgers Since 1945", historian Paul G. E. Clemens chronicles this remarkable transition, with emphasis on the eras from the Cold War, to the student protests of the 1960s and 1970s, and to the increasing commitment to big-time athletics.

Meet Prof. Clemens and learn more about his new book on Rutgers. Refreshments will be served.
