Grants Strengthen the Public Art Field in Boston

The New England Foundation for the Arts has awarded $275,000 in Fund for the Arts grants to five organizations to strengthen the public art field in Boston.

National Dance Project Community Engagement Fund Makes First Round of Awards

The National Dance Project Community Engagement Fund will provide supplementary grants to five selected artists who have received NDP Production Grant funding.

New England Artists Receive Blunk Fund Awards

The three 2018 awardees of the Rebecca Blunk Fund will receive $3,000 in unrestricted support in celebration of the memory of our former executive director.

National Theater Project Selects 24 Finalists

Each Finalist worked with their NTP Advisor and NTP staff to put together a strong proposal. From the 24 Finalists , eight will receive NTP Creation and Touring grants . NTP Advisors will meet in July to select the awardees.

Center Stage Announces U.S. Tours of Artists from Egypt and Ukraine

For its fourth edition,   Center Stage  – a cultural exchange program initiated by the  U.S. Department of State’s Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs  and produced by the  New England Foundation for the Arts  – will bring five contemporary music and theater ensembles from Egypt and Ukraine to tour in the United States in September-November 2018.

Prior to NEFA, Derek served in multiple roles in communications, production, and content creation. He will continue to volunteer with Brain Arts, directing their communications efforts.
