Department of Defence KCRP Grant Program - Up to $15 Million in Funding
The FY18 Defense Appropriation provides $15 million (M) to the Department of Defense Kidney Cancer Research Program (KCRP)
to support research of exceptional scientific merit in the area of kidney cancer.
Idea Development Award
- $400,000 over 2 years, to s
upport new ideas that represent innovative, high-risk/high-gain approaches to kidney cancer research, and have the potential to make an important contribution to kidney cancer
Physician Research Award
- $200,000 over 2 year, to support
a mentored research experience to prepare physicians with clinical duties and/or responsibilities for productive careers in kidney cancer research
Technology Development award
- $300,000 over 3 years, to support
emerging technologies to aid clinical and patient outcomes.Preliminary data are required
Translational Research Partnership Award
- $600,000 over 3 years, to support a partnership between a clinician and a laboratory scientist for translational correlative studies.
