Look for more information on this event in the next few weeks.
Bubba's BBQ
A special Thank You to Nolan and friends at Bubba's in Kent!
They raised nearly $3,900 for DAWN last month, as well as a box full of school supplies for children going through domestic violence.
A Client's Story
The survivors are the reason for DAWN's services.
One of those services is  Food Lifeline  - donations that come from a local Safeway once a week. Here's a story from one of our advocates.

When I first met with this client, I asked her how they were doing with food. She told me she makes sure her son eats. Her son then told me his mom doesn’t eat, and gives all her food to him. They are homeless because of her abusive ex-partner’s actions and are going through a tough time. I told them about our Food Lifeline deliveries on Fridays. The next Friday, they came by and picked up some food, including produce and meat. Later that day, they sent me this photo with a text that said, “My son says thank you—such a blessed meal we get tonight. Thank you so much.”
“My son says thank you—such a blessed meal we get tonight.
Thank you so much.”

Volunteers help make the Food Lifeline program possible at DAWN. For more information on how volunteers can help check out our volunteer page on our website.
Helping survivors of Domestic Violence is our passion.
