10 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much.
It is ALWAYS a pleasure and a JOY when I get to preach on my FAVORITE Verse in the entire Bible!!!
In fact, my whole life and ministry has been founded upon and driven by its simple TRUTH.
MANY years ago, a saint of God pointed her finger in the direction of the Children Church, and said
"
Young man, if you believe God has called you to preach-GO PREACH-there!!!
Then she quoted the above Verse to me-go ahead-read it again.
I love to read!
Again, in fact, I had rather read than watch.
I remember watching the movie, "THE BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY" after reading the book years before.
The movie did not do justice to the writer of the book.
There is just something about words and the WORD that reaches me more fully.
John 1:1 (KJV)
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
As such, in my reading this past week of the story of David Green, the founder of HOBBY LOBBY, I was happily surprised to read the following quote:
"
When we're young, sometimes we think there's a magic key in life that will answer all the questions or solve all the problems. Its easy to think that life possesses some big secret and that when we find success somehow we'll attain the key to unlock all the mysteries of life.
But now, as part of the emeritus faculty of life, I can say that its MUCH SIMPLER THAN THAT (italics mine)
BE FAITHFUL WITH WHAT GOD PUTS IN FRONT OF YOU, AND
INVEST IN THE THINGS OF HEAVEN, ( again italics mine).
SELAH-PLEASE stop and ponder/meditate on the last two sentences above!!!!
Zig Ziglar WROTE that "one must go as far as they can see and when they get there they can see farther!!!!!"
Solomon was even more wise:

18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
Yesterday, (Saturday June 24), my son Joshua complained "that I was not putting enough time or effort into my sermons lately!!?? THEY ARE TOO SHORT!!!!
I was surprised when I reformatted Mr. Jenkins sermon from 6/21/17 and note that it was seven pages long.
I PURPOSELY keep my messages short and always strive to make ONE POINT!
ONE POINT that you, dear reader, can carry with you that day and PRAYERFULLY for life!!
MY "ONE POINT" TODAY is simply this:

AGAIN, perhaps Mr. Solomon AGAIN topped him:
