Visit our Foundation  webpage to find additional information on how GHBC & other local, state and federal agencies can assist you in rebuilding your business,  connect you with contract vendor opportunities, and how you can support those in need.

The rebuilding of our region is a collaborative effort and  WE ARE READY!

GHBC has created a  three-phase approach to our Disaster Recovery Assistance for business owners impacted by Hurricane Harvey:

Phase I - Funding
GHBC Foundation Small Business Grant

The Foundation Small Business Grants program is intended to " bridge the gap" between the time a major catastrophe occurs and when a business has secured other resources such as insurance proceeds or SBA disaster loans.  Eligible applicants must complete GHBC Foundation Small Business Grant Application and have documentation of physical damage and/or economic injury.  Proposed use of funds will be limited to documented business expenses necessary for disaster repair or operational expenses. Eligible applicants must have 51% ownership in the affected business or the majority owner must sign the application.  Only one grant application per individual business.

Phase II - Resources
Disaster Recovery Resource Guide

Different aspects of the recovery operations may be led by the federal government through FEMA, state government emergency response programs, and city or county emergency response programs.  Below is a  checklist for working with federal, state, city and counties as a contractor during disaster recovery.

Phase III -  Contracting

Disaster Recovery Vendors List

Disaster recovery operations are seeking vendors that can remove debris, provide facility support services, furnish supplies, commercial/residential construction services, and much more.

Local, state and federal government entities and officials have requested that GHBC compile a list of vendors  to assist in the r ecovery efforts.

In an effort to respond to these requests, please complete the  Disaster Recovery Vendor Questionnaire if you would like to be included in  GHBC's Disaster  Recovery Vendors List.
