Many thoughts and prayers for all impacted by Hurricane Matthew's devastation. GISCorps volunteers have been quite involved in the response and recovery efforts. And now we watch Hurricane Nicole as it approaches Bermuda.

Stay safe all!

GIS-Pro 2017: URISA's 55th Annual Conference
October 23-26, 2017
Jacksonville, Florida

Toronto...here we come!
It's always exciting to see the efforts of many individuals who worked together over the past several months to make the URISA annual conference possible.

From the conference committee (led by Diana Rodriguez, Al Little, Wendy Peloquin and Alex Hepp) to the 100+ presenters and moderators...from our generous exhibitors and sponsors to my awesome team here at URISA HQ...the conference would not happen without their amazing contributions and we cannot thank them enough!

An incredible line-up of sessions and events will be featured at GIS-Pro 2016. I hope you'll be there to reap the rewards!

In addition to the education and an abundance of networking opportunities (from meet-ups to the social event at the Hockey Hall of Fame), learn about URISA committees and volunteer workplans for 2017. Jump in and get involved. You're more than welcome!

(And some of us are pretty excited about the possibility that the Chicago Cubs and Toronto Blue Jays could meet up in the World Series. All sorts of things need to align to make that happen, but if that final series goes to a sixth or seventh game, those games will be played in Toronto! What an electric atmosphere that will be!)

See you in Toronto!
