Invest in PRISM Awards; support our profession

Note from Austin Falley, VP of Professional Development

Every fall, public relations and communications professionals in Greater Kansas City gather at the PRISM Awards gala to honor the smartest, sharpest work being produced in our area.

Our chapter’s mission is to elevate the public relations profession with learning and development opportunities, and our signature PRISM Awards gala provides a platform to honor stellar public relations and communications work.

As vice president of finance for our chapter, my request is simple: Consider becoming a sponsor of the 2017 PRISM Awards Gala, slated for Oct. 12 at the Uptown Theater.

As a not-for-profit professional association, every dollar you contribute to the PRISM Gala gives our chapter more resources to support Kansas City’s PR community. Gala sponsors allow us to invest in our profession through monthly development lunches, after-work gatherings and other opportunities for learning and fellowship that bring to Kansas City visionary minds in the public relations space.

Your support for this year’s PRISM Awards gala reinforces our chapter’s ability to be a premier professional resource and to advocate for Kansas City’s public relations and communications community.

Please consider a sponsorship to support our largest fundraising and recognition event. The future of our PRSA chapter truly depends on it.
