Are you OK with guns in our local hospitals and universities?  How about more restrictions on women's reproductive rights?  How do you like decreased funding of education?

These issues are all controlled by our state legislatures, and we're letting them get away with working against our interests.

On the 23rd we are holding our general membership meeting. We'll take about how to be most effective in reaching out to our state legislatures.  While we can celebrate some success with the Indivisible techniques at the federal level, we still have a big gap in our focus on state legislation.

What do we do long term?  We elect more progressive women.  And it's election time this spring in Missouri!  Learn how to run or how to volunteer this coming Saturday!

On Saturday, Feb. 25th we will be holding a "crash course" campaign training.  In the am we will be covering basic campaign how-to's for local candidates.  In the pm we will be training volunteers how to knock on doors.  Then we hope to go put the training to good use, and cover a whole district.

Join us to discuss how the successful actions described in the Indivisible Guide can be used to make our voices heard in Topeka and Jefferson City. It's time to make some phones ring at the state level!  The legislation that impacts us most closely starts at the state level.  We've been letting the Governors and State Legislators working against our rights off the hook.

Let's hold them accountable!

Guest speakers include Hillary Klofkorn Shields from the Indivisible KC group.
MO District 24 Representative, Judy Morgan
and
K
