New CableAnytime Features
You asked, we delivered. Beginning with WinCable 1.105 (in beta testing now) and CableAnytime 1.4 users will be transitioning from a phone number/pin log in to an email address/password log in. With this comes the ability to manage multiple CableAnytime User accounts with various movie and TV ratings developed to automate the TV Everywhere experience for each member of the house. And last but not least, you'll have the option to allow CableAnytime users to refresh their equipment from a new menu option.
Want to see for yourself what CableAnytime can do? Last month, GLDS aired a webinar designed to educate GLDS customers on the features and benefits of CableAnytime. A link to the webinar is available on request by clicking here. |

SuperController Tech Tip For June
Many sites are looking to upgrade to the latest WinCable release 1.104. As part of this update, a SuperController update will need to be performed by GLDS addressable engineers. To prepare for this update, please make sure that all service packs are installed on your SuperController. Service Pack 3 for Windows XP is now required and if you are installing this service pack, you will NEED to contact GLDS for additional licensing as soon as you're done. Windows XP SP3 requires the re-generation of the computer's machine ID and this ID will be needed to maintain licensing on your WinCable/SuperController system.
