The GLMS Nominating Committee presents the 2017 Proposed Ballot for your review.
The proposed ballot was developed by the Nominating Committee after a call for recommendations from the general membership. In accordance with the bylaws, eligible GLMS members have the entire month of February to review the proposed ballot (scroll down to view). Any qualified member* not slated who desires to run for any office up for election may submit a petition containing the valid signatures of at least 196** active GLMS members to the GLMS offices no later than the end of business on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Members who submit valid petitions will be included on the final ballot. Click here to download the official petition form.
The election will begin in early March when the ballot is finalized. This year, members will elect: 1 President-Elect, 1 Vice President, 1 Treasurer, 2 At-Large Board Members, 4 In-Training Delegates, 3 Judicial Council Members, ***20 Nominating Committee Members and 37 KMA Delegates. The election will be conducted entirely online. Voting instructions will be provided in forthcoming communications.
