Please consider attending the GMAR's inaugural WomanStrong! conference on May 3, 2018. We are expecting over 150 women and men to be present for a morning of professional development devoted to giving powerful women bold tools to take their career to the next level.
Even though the real estate industry is predominantly female, women are underrepresented in leadership positions at both the brokerage and senior management levels. The goal of the GMAR's WomenStrong! event is to foster an environment for women to communicate, collaborate, advocate for, and support one another.
The GMAR's WomanStrong! conference will feature several veteran women agent and broker REALTORS® discussing lessons they've learned during their careers, how to avoid some of their mistakes; how women are changing the leadership of brokerages today; and the importance of office/brokerage culture to women's success in real estate.
Challenges relating to balancing work and family obligations is often mentioned in any list of obstacles women face in the world. To help women cope with that unsteady balance we're bringing in Laura Gmeinder, a top rated national speaker on career and family issues, "She challenges and inspires audience members to lean into their potential, step up as leaders and to put their values into action to make an impact in the world."
