Water-Wise Challenge
We have been asking our Grogan's Mill residents for the past couple of months to join the WATER-WISE VILLAGE CHALLENGE. It is a contest sponsored by the Woodlands GREEN and the Environmental Services department of The Woodlands Township requesting residents to commit to not using their sprinkler system or other lawn watering until after April 15.

The Village with the most number of pledges receives: $500 ($400 plus $100 for meetingbase of 50 pledges)
1st Runner up: $300 ($200 plus $100 for meeting base  of 50 pledges)
 2nd Runner up: $ 200 ($100 plus $100 for meeting basis of 50 pledges)

Any winnings will go toward GMVA's support of our local schoolto assist our teachers and children.

As of last week's tally, Grogan's Mill currently has less than 50 commitments and are 15 pledges away from first place.  You can learn more about the WATER-WISE VILLAGE CHALLENGE and sign up at:  http://www.thewoodlandstownship-tx.gov/index.aspx?nid=1055.  Please let us know if you sign up and would like us to deliver one of the yard signs to your home.

Sara Bissig, owner of Go Green Eco Taxi, has generously offered to pick up the Water-Wise sign for any Grogan's Mill resident and deliver it to their home in her eco-friendly taxi.  If you would like Sara to deliver your sign, please take the pledge and then email Sara at gogreenecotaxi@gmail.com to let her know where to deliver your sign in Grogan's Mill.
