June 11 - Good Neighbor Day at Sawmill Pool
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Neighborhood Services will be holding a Good Neighbor Day at Sawmill Pool on June 11 from 2-3:30pm.  It is a good opportunity to learn more about how Neighborhood Services supports our community.
Plan to attend and learn more about the Neighborhood Services programs plus take advantage of this opportunity to check out Sawmill Pool.  We think you'll be impressed and like it so much, you'll want to purchase a summer pool pass!
Road Construction Updates
Grogan's Mill is now open between North Millbend and South Millbend.  It is also open from Research Forest to Woodlands Parkway.  We hear that the small section from Woodlands Parkway to North Millbend will take another three weeks before it is opened.
Request a Vacation Watch While You are Gone
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With the summer break approaching, we would like to remind anyone planning a vacation to consider filling out a form to request a Vacation Watch from the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.  Not only does it help you while you are gone, but it also helps your neighbors to have an increase police patrol in your area.

Use the link to inform the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office when you will be away. They will send a patrol car by your house at least once each day while you are gone. It is called their Vacation Watch program.

Secure Your Car Doors at Night
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Montgomery County Sheriff's Office would like to remind us all to lock our car doors at night if you do not use a garage for your car.  The Sheriff's Offices sees an increase in petty theft each summer, with theft of vehicles topping the list.  Make it harder for criminals--lock your car doors and remove any valuables at night.
