|Grogan's Mill Farmer's Market
Traffic is going to be a little challenging this weekend (see CB&I Triathlon information above) along with the Insperity Golf Tournament going on in our area, but we hope you'll persevere and come visit The Woodlands local Farmer's Market. The vendors will be there with all their wonderfully fresh produce, artisan breads and other baked goods, free-range chickens and grass-fed beef, goat cheese and lotions, Texas olive oil, beautiful orchids, chemical-free soaps and cleansers, and so much more.......we hope to see you, too!
The Market is welcoming two new vendors this Saturday morning. DellaCasa old-world recipe pastas and sauces deliver an authentic taste of Italy, while Back to the Farm returns after a one year absence with their fresh eggs. Visit our newcomers as well as the other 20+ vendors at the Grogan's Mill Village Center, corner of Grogan's Mill Road and South Millbend, from 8 am until 12 noon each Saturday.
Mark June 2nd on your calendar for the 2nd Annual Tomato Mania Festival, benefiting Veggie Village, the community garden project that supplies fresh produce to Interfaith's Food Pantry. It's going to be even bigger with more Chefs cooking up their best tomato-based recipes for you to sample along with entertainment and lots of family fun. The Festival will take place in the same area as the Farmer's Market with lots of the produce and other ingredients used by the Chefs supplied by our vendors.
