| National Night Out, October 2
Grogan's Mill Village Association will host a National Night Out Party for all Grogan's Mill residents at Sawmill Park on Tuesday, October 2nd from 5 to 7 pm. We'll celebrate the renovation of Sawmill Park plus have visits from our safety officers and firemen. Bring your family and neighbors to enjoy free pizza, Mexican food, soft drinks, games, and children's activities, including the new splash pad. Take advantage of this opportunity to get to know others in our community and your Village Association Representatives!
Grogan's Mill Road Water Pipeline ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The GMVA received a briefing from James Noack, Republican candidate for Precinct 3 Commissioner, at its meeting on September 17th. Construction of the new water pipeline will take place in stages. Various segments of Research Forest Road will be closed from February to December 2013. Construction on Grogan's Mill Road will start in January 2014 with the south bound lanes being closed until May 2014. From May until August Grogan's Mill Road will be closed from Woodlands Parkway to South Millbend. During the work all traffic will be directed in one lane on the northbound side of the road. Shoulders along theses roads will be made more bike friendly.
|Widening of Woodlands Parkway
The $6.5 million project to widen Woodlands Parkway between Grogan's Mill and East Panther Creek begins this Fall and will take approximately one year to complete.
