It is a long drive to Monroe and the weather was rainy.  Initially all matches were to be played on rubico but most matches were played on hard courts since the clay was saturated.
On Friday, the Last Minute team played at the Bayou Desiard Country Club prevailing 2-1 over Baton Rouge.
On Saturday Shreveport beat New Orleans 2-1 on clay setting up Sunday matches against Baton Rouge and Shreveport.  Wet weather delayed the Sunday start until 11 am.
New Orleans had to win both Sunday matches to win.  Last Minute started with a 3-0 win over Baton Rouge and finished with a 2-1 win over Shreveport.
Over the weekend the team won 4 out of 6 tiebreakers in its wins.
