CNY housing market heats up in February with a 26-percent jump in sales 
Closed home sales jumped more than 26-percent in February compared to February 2020 as the Central New York housing market experienced an exceptional month, according to the housing market report released by the Greater Syracuse Association of REALTORS®. The ongoing median sales price growth trend also continued in February, posting a 12.4-percent increase compared to a year ago. Read more here.
NAR offers free one-hour fair housing course to NY REALTORS 
The National Association of REALTORS®, in partnership with the Perception Institute, will be offering "Implicit Bias: Overcoming Barriers to Fair Housing" for free to REALTORS® in New York State. The one-hour, Zoom-delivered course will take place on May 3 from 9 a.m. to noon. The Perception Institute’s foundational mind science workshops focus on increasing comfort level with navigating identity differences, explaining the science of identity, and engaging the use of interactive exercises to build new muscles of equitable behavior. Register here.
T3 to focus on cybersecurity on March 30
GSAR's first 2021 T3 webinar will focus on cybercrime and cybersecurity. Representatives from sponsor Hinman, Howard & Kattell will present the session from 1 to 3 p.m. They share the latest information about current cybercrimes, provide a legal update on the New York Shield Act and offer practical guidance for defending yourself and your business from cybercriminals. RPAC auction items up for bid
RPAC has two items up for bid right now - Nancy Quigg's famous Easter cookies and a Kate Spade tote. Nancy Quigg, RPAC chair, is now taking orders for a variety tray of Italian chocolate, lemon and almond biscotti cookies for an RPAC donation of $150 per tray.
