NOMINATIONS  OPEN FOR 2018 GSCS EDUCATOR HALL OF FAME 
Nominations are open for the 2018 Griffin-Spalding County School System (GSCS) Educator Hall of Fame. Established in 2013, as a part of the school system's 60th Anniversary festivities, GSCS is seeking exemplary nominees for the Class of 2018.

Educators should be nominated for his/her outstanding and significant contributions to students, staff, parents and the community during their employment at GSCS. Nominees must have been employed at GSCS for a minimum of 10 years and be retired for at least five years. The district utilizes an independent panel of out-of-town judges to review all nominees.

The 2018 class will be inducted during a special ceremony on August 24, 2018 at the annual Griffin High School vs. Spalding High School football game.

Each GSCS school administrative team and district department was asked to participated in the Capture the Culture Challenge by submitting a 15 second or less video showcasing the culture of their school/department. Alison Sutter

Title I Inventory Technician/Title II Administrative Assistant

Alison has worked diligently throughout the year to redesign and update training materials, forms and procedures for tracking Title I equipment in the district. Through her innovative use of Google Suite, Allison has created a much more efficient and accurate Title I equipment tracking system. She displays exemplary customer service in the office and at schools. She is always willing to assist other departments and is a valuable member of the Federal Programs team!
