Here's the latest 100th Anniversary news:

100th Anniversary Event Updates

2012 Tournament of Roses Float

With our Anniversary Float Committee energized and our float company, Fiesta Parade Floats, electrified, GSGLA is anticipating a spectacular entry in the 2012 Tournament of Roses Parade!

One of Girl Scouts' own, Renee Hoss Johnson, a dedicated troop leader and professional float designer, will be designing the Girl Scout Float!

You can be a part of the float pageantry, too! Honor someone with a flower for the 2012 Girl Scouts Rose Parade float. Make a donation in honor of a loved one, Girl Scout Alumnae, troop leaders, Gold Awardees, Girl Scouts (daughters, sisters, friends) and Girl Scout staff and their name will be with one of the flower vials on our float. Click here to find out  more or click here to order your vial today!

Girl Scouts 100th Anniversary
Special Garden Zinnia Mix

Renee's Garden Seeds is teaming with Girl Scouts of Greater Los Angeles to help sow the seeds of leadership. The flower seed company has created a special Garden Zinnia Mix in honor of Girl Scouts' 100th Anniversary.

Zinnia, Berry Basket

A portion of the proceeds from the sale of the specially packaged, limited edition seed mix will help raise funds for the 2012 Girl Scout Tournament of Roses Parade Float.

100th Anniversary Special Garden Zinnia Mix will be available at the upcoming GSGLA Cookie Kick-Off on January 15 and available in Council Shops and other GSGLA events thereafter.

Girltopia is October 29, 2011!

Mark your calendar for what is poised to be the largest girl-expo in the nation! What a great way to celebrate Juliette Gordon Low's birthday!

Girltopia combines all the best in GSGLA signature events and programs, such as the Family Science Festival and Cookie Kick-Off, with cool workshops, girl-centric seminars, special guests and awesome exhibits!

GSGLA Green Directory

You’ve heard of the Yellow Pages and the Blue Book? Well, we’ve created the GSGLA Green Directory -- a collection of names of women in the Greater Los Angeles area who were Girl Scouts.

Don't be left out! GSGLA will only list your name. Contact information (if provided) will not be shared. Click here and be counted! Share this email with your friends and the amazing women in your life and encourage them to sign up, too.

Names will not be published without permission.
