Update on Pepco Work in Silver Spring - Saturday Closures

For the next three Saturdays, portions of Colesville Road between Noyes Court and approximately 300 feet south of the Spring Street and Colesville Road intersection will be closed between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. so that PEPCO's contractor, Anchor Construction Corporation, can continue work on underground utility upgrades. On Saturday, November 4, the curb and right lanes on southbound Colesville Road will be closed. On Saturday, November 11, and Saturday, November 18, two middle lanes - one southbound and one northbound - in the same location will be closed. A flagging operation and signage will direct motorist and pedestrians through the work zone.

Questions about the project should be emailed to takomasligo@pepco.com or left in a email at 855-888-9343. Both are monitored daily. Pepco has promised a response within 24 hours. For regular updates, go to www.pepco.com/Takoma.
