Holy cow, can you believe it's August already??? At Golf Away Tours we're already getting a lot of calls from golfers anticipating the sense of withdrawal that all of us get when the courses have been closed and we're reduced to practicing our takeaway in the living room. It's comforting to know that you've got a great golf getaway to look forward to.

May we suggest Pinehurst in November? The #2 course will have re-opened after hosting the US Open, rates are reduced, and the weather is still excellent for golf.

Or how about Bermuda? It's a 2 � hour direct flight from Toronto, it's 22 degrees everyday, and the small island has some great golf courses including world top-100 Mid Ocean and Port Royal, host of the PGA Grand Slam.

If you're really looking to thaw out, there is a new resort south of Orlando called Streamsong which boasts two incredible courses on a spectacular piece of property and 5-star accommodation. One thing we can promise, other than the warm sunshine you would never know you were in Florida. You gotta see it to believe it.
