UPS increases use of renewable natural gas
UPS agreed to purchase 10-million-gallon equivalents of renewable natural gas per year from Big Ox Energy. This is the largest investment in to date for the company, and the agreement runs through 2024. Full story
GM to Start EV Rollout in 2021
General Motors (GM) will begin rolling out its next-generation of electric vehicles in 2021, and it seeks to to reach its goal of offering 20 such vehicles by 2023, CEO Mary Barra told investors. GM is "committed to a future electric vehicle portfolio that will be profitable," Barra said. Full story

According to Tesla, thanks to its optimized traction and instantaneous torque, the new semi would be able to go from zero to 60 mph in five seconds without a trailer, and zero to 60 in 20 seconds when pulling a fully loaded trailer. Equally important, the company said the unique characteristics of an electric powertrain's torque delivery with no clutch actuation or gear shifts would allow the Tesla Semi to climb a five-percent grade while maintaining a constant 65 mph. Full story
