What is Green Hour
As part of the WTW21 educational lineup, Green Hour sessions (March 9-11, 11 a.m. EST) will highlight new technology and efforts to move to a zero-emission environment. See who’s presenting at the Advanced Chassis Update sessions.

Paul Rosa, SVP procurement & fleet planning for Penske, will discuss the company’s current and near-term advanced fuel and emission reduction programs.
Leading manufacturers share research and strategies to help improve fuel costs and economy using existing propulsion systems. Examples such as vocational-specific shift points and adjustments to non-combustible fluids will be discussed.  
Industry organizations will overview the alternative fuel landscape, new technologies and energy-saving strategies.

Terex Utilities introduces hybrid for Hi-Ranger aerial devices, commander digger derricks
Terex Utilities has announced the newest addition of its HyPower hybrid solutions – the Viatec SmartPTO. This product reduces idling, increases fuel savings, and minimizes noise and air pollution by utilizing stored plug in electric power to operate the equipment. 
Kenworth T680E battery-electric now HVIP-approved
The new Kenworth T680E battery-electric vehicle is now available and qualifies for a $120,000 voucher incentive available to qualifying California purchasers from the California Air Resources Board (CARB). The financial incentive is offered through the 2021 CARB Hybrid and Zero-Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP).
Lordstown Motors Corp. entered into a set of agreements with Holman Enterprises, a global automotive services organization, including a co-marketing agreement and vehicle procurement agreement with ARI, Holman’s industry-leading leasing and fleet management services division, and an upfit services agreement with Auto Truck Group, Holman Enterprises’ vehicle fabrication and upfitting division.
Daimler Truck, Volvo Group launch joint fuel-cell company
Daimler Truck AG and Volvo Group have completed the transaction of the joint fuel-cell project and have formed a new company entitled cellcentric with a combined goal to step towards climate-neutral and sustainable transportation by 2050.
