GUMC COMMUNITY MEETING



The next GUMC Community Meeting will be on Monday, September 12 from 4:00 to 5:30 p.m.  Dr. Ed Healton and other leaders will report on GUMC engagement activities and facilities master planning process, provide updates on our research support initiatives and give an end of the fiscal year finance summary.  A reception follows the meeting.

  • There are several funding opportunities available that support the global work of

  • Two Interdisciplinary Program in Neuroscience Students Recognized 
    Sikoya Ashburn has been named Associate in the Society for Neuroscience's Scholars Program, and Edith Brignoni-Perez has been named Fellow in the same program. 
     
  • Dyslexia Association recognizes Guinevere Eden, PhD

    Dr. Eden has been named the Norman Geschwind Memorial Lecturer for the International Dyslexia Association Annual Conference next month. 
     
  • Society of Teachers of Family Medicine Foundation Award Available
    For STFM members who have served at least two years, but no more than four as full-time faculty. Deadline November 18. Apply here
