Thank You!

Thank you for attending Go West Summit. We hope you enjoyed your Reno Tahoe visit - we're excited to see you back again someday soon!

We love your photos! Please share any pictures from your Go West adventures by emailing [email protected] or tagging GWS17 on Facebook or Twitter.

Look for your invitation to share your Summit thoughts and concerns via the post-event evaluation, distributed later this week.

Proving Your ROI?
Go West Summit understands that a substantial return on investment is important to the success of your business. As you create your final Go West Summit 2017 report, you might include the following information:
  • 200 Buyers
  • 24 Countries
  • 340 Suppliers
  • 12,456 Official Appointments
  • 184 Gallons of Coffee
Of course, Go West Summit does not track all business booked via the event. Instead, we rely on registrants to complete the post-event evaluation so we can crunch the numbers and complete an ROI sheet. Our 2016 ROI is available here and it's packed with excellent information that you can share with your company. Look for the 2017 ROI sheet in late March once we tabulate your responses.

Wyoming: The Cowboy State
Home to some of the most beautiful places on earth, Wyoming’s natural wonders include Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks, Devils Tower National Monument, and the Big Horn Mountains, as well as 16 scenic byways and so much more.  Guests who want to experience the West can stay near one of Wyoming’s guest or working ranches.

Found throughout the state, guest ranches offer an exclusive and authentic stay, while providing visitors with 5-star dining, spa treatments and entertainment.  Enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sunset over the mountains, tantalize your taste buds on a fresh bison steak or head off to the hills on horseback to have a picnic by the river.

For more adventurous travelers, Wyoming’s working ranches offer some one-of-a-kind experiences.  Visitors can learn to lasso cattle while riding horses, spend the night under the stars on a real cattle drive or enjoy a cold one in a cowboy saloon, all while getting a taste of real ranch life and returning home as a true Wyoming Cowboy.

No matter the expectations, staying at a Wyoming ranch is a must-do experience.  Because in Wyoming, you come as a traveler and leave as a cowboy.

Your Turn
Now that the event has concluded...

Promptly write thank you letters and include any additional information (images, rates, documents, etc.) requested during your appointment sessions. Good relationships begin with trust and commitment, then business follows.

Establish partnerships with other companies. Reach out to the colleagues you met during Go West to learn new strategies to help you land contracts. Log in to your GWS landing page anytime between now and when you re-register to view/download company profiles of our event attendees.

Remember that this is just the beginning. Developing international business is a process that can take 3-5 years.

Make Go West Summit your own. Complete the post-summit evaluation (distributed later this week) to add your remarks, ideas, and suggestions to help increase your success at the next show.

Consider attending other travel shows in the US and abroad to maintain a presence in the travel industry and continue the conversation you started at Go West.
