Module 1- Love your power tools? Grab your circular saw, drill and pneumatic stapler! Learn the fundamentals in how to build such furniture as the basic upholstered ottoman, upholstered footstool and upholstered bench. We will cover how to measure for, detailed fabrication/upholstery of each, as well as how to cover and finish each of these items.
Module 2- You will learn the measuring for, tear down of and recovering of the basic round lampshade as well as fabricating simple lampshade covers. You will also learn how to measure for and fabricate numerous items of tableware including tablecloths, place mats, napkins and table runners as well as embellishments you may add to each to further customize each table item.
This webinar can be used to earn credits for WFCP Workroom Certification. Attendees may take a proof of learning quiz following the webinar to obtain WFCP Workroom credits.

Module 1- Identify the different types of custom made bedding products used for home decoration and design. We will cover bedspreads, coverlets, comforters, duvet covers, bed skirts and scaldinos. You will learn proper industry terminology, measuring for each, sizing variations, yardage requirements, fullness variation and fills/forms available.
Module 2- Learn proper fabrication techniques for bedspreads, coverlets, comforters, duvet covers, bed skirts and scaldinos. We will cover the different variations and styles of each, various closures as well as numerous decorative elements and embellishments that can be added to further customize each item to complete each item.
