With a week of (mostly) beautiful weather behind us the golf courses are plaing great and the orchards and gardens of the Okanagan are blooming. Real Estate is stirring too, as we are seeing continuously more visitors to our Sales Centre and more showings for our house, townhouse and lot listings.

With the warm spring weather and temperatures in the 20's (that will be 70's for our American audience) we are moving into a magical time of year. All pictures below were taken April 28.

The golfers are out in full swing. Both the Gallagher's Canyon Course and the Pinnacle have been open for a few weeks. We have seen a marked increase in traffic through our sales centre, as well as an increase in showings of listed properties. If you are thinking of putting your house on the market for the spring/summer market, now is the time!

Canyon Bar & Grill opens at Gallagher's Canyon Clubhouse

A welcome change and addition to the Gallagher's Canyon Golf Course Clubhouse is the new Canyon Bar & Grill. I have been there three times for lunc, after golf and dinner and have not been disappointed. The food and wine selection and the ambiance are mucch improved over the previous establishment.

April saw Gallagher's first lot sale of 2012. In addition there was one single family home sold here this month, but we are starting to see the market heating up with lots of new activity.

Gallagher's new builder, Fawdry Homes has started work on their first home this year, and we expect to see a couple more homes started fairly soon.
