Delray Medical Center breaks ground on $80 million patient tower
Delray Medical Center has begun building a 120,000-square-foot tower as part of a $79.4 million expansion.
The four-story tower will include 96 private rooms, a cardiovascular clinic, expanded endoscopy suites and a five-level parking garage.

Health Care District of Palm Beach County appoints interim CEO, initiates search for CEO and CFO
The Health Care District of Palm Beach County's General Counsel was appointed as interim Chief Executive Officer of the district Monday.
Chief Legal Officer
Nicholas W. Romanello will act as CEO until a permanent chief executive can be found. The district's board of commissioners said it would initiate a national search for a replacement.
The appointment comes after the July 21 resignation of
Ronald J. Wiewora, who had served at the district's CEO since July 2011 and Chief Medical Officer since joining the district in 2000.
Romanello served as the Health Care District's legal counsel from 2006 to 2011.
