Top University of Florida brain surgeon to lead South Florida institute

Boca Raton Regional Hospital recruited Dr. Robert M. Levy, the top brain surgeon at the University of Florida, to lead its new Marcus Neuroscience Institute.

Robert Levy, MD, PhD

Levy is the chairman of neurological surgery at UF's College of Medicine in Jacksonville and the co-director of its neuroscience institute. He's authored three books and over 200 peer-reviewed articles.

The organization is led by Jerry Fedele, President and Chief Executive Officer.

Curtis Anderson, MD, PhD, has joined South Florida Vascular Associates as a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist. He served his Residency in Vascular and Interventional Radiology at University of Virginia Medical Center. Dr. Anderson has extensive training in the treatment and management of advanced peripheral arterial disease and limb salvage. He specializes in advanced endovascular methods to treat abdominal and thoracic aneurysms and in the minimally invasive treatment of hepatobiliary disorders and interventional oncology. South Florida Vascular Associates has offices in Coconut Creek, Boynton Beach and Plantation.
