UM names Altschuler CEO of UHealth
Dr. Steven M. Altschuler
The
University of Miami has named
Dr. Steven M. Altschuler as CEO of its health system
UHealth and Senior VP of Health Affairs - two titles previously held by
Dr. Pascal J. Goldschmidt.
This is the first major executive change at the nonprofit university since
Dr. Julio Frenk took over as president in August. He's an expert in the field of population health management and is expected to exert his influence on UM's health operations, which include three hospitals and South Florida's largest physician network.

St. Mary's Medical Center (located in West Palm Beach) has appointed
Gabrielle Finley-Hazle as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Finley-Hazle, who has served as CEO of
Florida Medical Center (located in Ft. Lauderdale) since 2012, will begin at St. Mary's Medical Center on Jan. 1, 2016.
