Recruiting Practices Survey!
Participate by July 21 for a Chance to Win!

It's that time of year again! We need YOUR PARTICIPATION in the 2017 Recruiting Survey by July 21.

GIS continuously works in close partnership with you, our student members and recent graduates, as well as with the industry to make engagement opportunities even more meaningful. With this survey, we seek to inform the industry's recruiting practices based on YOUR experiences and input.

Your feedback is extremely valuable in helping us work with recruiters so that they can develop and hone their recruiting strategies. This survey asks for your own recruiting experiences, as well as your thoughts and opinions regarding what you look for in a prospective employer; companies coming to campus; when and for how long they extend an offer to you; and what you think is the best means for them to reach you and your peers.

To thank you for your participation, there will be opportunities to win*!

PRIZES:
1 - $500 Visa Gift Card
5 - $50 Visa Gift Cards
Any school with 10 participants will receive $100 off of 2017-2018 membership dues!

* You must enter an email address in the survey (#39) to be eligible for a prize.

Individual answers will be kept confidential, but the complete results of this survey will be used as part of a Recruiters' Roundtable that will take place on Thursday, September 28 during the GIS Annual Conference in Dallas.

Your opinion matters! Help us and our partners create the best strategies for recruiting GIS members! Please respond by July 21.

"Dive In" Returns to the Annual International Conference
The Festival for Diversity & Inclusion in Insurance

We are proud to announce for the second year in a row, the GIS Annual Conference will be a global Dive In Festival city! The Dive In Festival was first held in 2015 in the Lloyd's market. It was a market-wide four-day celebration of the bottom line benefits of diversity and inclusion for the insurance industry led by Inclusion@Lloyd's.

Similar to last year, the Festival is going global and including cities and events where diversity and inclusion initiatives and programs are taking center stage. In 2016, GIS students created a diversity committee to give themselves a voice in this topic.

Programming for the conference is being planned and GIS is thrilled to offer this opportunity to share with our members for the second time!

For more information about the festival, and to appreciate our excitement about its inclusion in the conference, please visit: http://diveinfestival.com.
